Vice President of Growth

As Vice President of Growth, Chris Daywalt leads Loft Federal’s growth strategy and customer engagement for U.S. national security space missions. He aligns government and industry partner needs with Loft’s commercial space infrastructure to deliver mission-ready solutions for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

With two decades of experience in space superiority, ISR, and resilient mission architectures, Chris has held senior strategy and program leadership roles at organizations including True Anomaly, Ball Aerospace, and Orbital Sciences. His background spans the entire program lifecycle, from early architecture through flight operations.

He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in Astronautical Engineering from USC, and an MBA from the University of Denver.

Scott Perry

Vice President and Chief Engineer

As Vice President and Chief Engineer, Scott Perry leads the design, integration, and testing of commercial satellite systems for demanding federal missions. He has over two decades of experience leading complex technical programs in the aerospace, defense, and commercial space sectors.

Scott’s expertise covers satellite payload delivery, mission assurance, and systems engineering. Prior to Loft Federal, he held engineering and program leadership roles at Ball Aerospace and Northrop Grumman, guiding multidisciplinary teams from concept through operational delivery.

He holds an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University.

Mark Mueller

Mark Mueller

Vice President of Strategy

As Vice President of Strategy, Mark Mueller shapes mission strategy and technology transition for U.S. and allied national security space missions. He is a national security technology executive with deep experience leading complex programs across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and private sector.

Mark’s career spans senior roles at Peraton, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the U.S. Air Force Reserve, with specialized expertise in Space Warfighting, intelligence data architectures, and C2. His unique background allows him to transition novel technologies from concept to operational capability by leveraging trusted relationships across government and allied partners.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has completed executive training at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
